LOOKED AT FLAT EARTH BEFORE?

Most of the information will not be new to you. The main intention here was to collect all of the information I've seen and the research I have done on each topic. I would recommend looking at the specifics more than the topic.

For example you may have looked at Satellites but have you looked specifically into a satellite company like Ball Aerospace?

Things I looked at that I haven't seen in other places at all or seen very little.

Avista Ventures, Ball Aerospace, NOAA, Ocean weather inc, Olympus Satellites, Rockefeller's, Rothschild's, Staircase to the moon, S.T.E.M,

Flat earth would have to be the most involved and difficult to understand topic covered on the site.

I'll come straight out and say......

No I can't prove the Earth is flat...

And that is not the intention here.

So why would I bother?

Simply because I'm open minded enough to entertain it and the more I looked into it the more I stated to question what we have been told.

This is by far the most interesting concept I've ever come across and if it was proven to be true...........Just imagine the implications.

Of all the conspiracy theories this would have the biggest impact on life as we know it.

I would consider it the ultimate conspiracy theory if wrong or the Greatest lie ever told to us if true.

But perhaps you might prefer to just watch a few videos before diving into the subject and take a few notes of your own. If that is the case then I would recommend the below.

Start with "Flat Earth Clues" for a good introduction.

From YouTuber Markksargent. Just a warning, In my opinion there is a lot of speculation but give it a chance and watch the whole series.

The Flat Earth community has mixed opinions about him but I don't take part in criticism based on the opinion of others so I won't get into details.

There are thousands of videos on YouTube by hundreds of YouTube channels but the ones I seem to look at the most are

Jeranism on YouTube. By far my favorite for the way he presents the information.

Mr Thrive and survive on YouTube. In my opinion tackles the big issues very well.

Rob Skiba on YouTube. He tackles the subject from a religious point of view. I'm not religious but I love his work.

Although Its not quite Flat Earth related I highly recommend you watch Babylon Rising.

I don't believe in "leaders" but he is considered the leader of the movement by many or if not the leader he is known for reviving the movement. I'm not a big fan of all of his work but some is excellent.

Quick Background

The Flat Earth theory is full of many different ideas on how we have been lied to, Who is behind it and how the flat Earth works.

Please be aware that if any of this is true then at least 500 years of "proof" of the globe needs to be re-examined so there will be many different ideas.

Some of the models are based on ancient belief or based on religious text but many atheists like myself are also looking into it so its not just for people who are religious.

The motto of a Flat Earther is to believe nothing without researching it yourself.

The community strongly believes that science is just another religion that holds onto dogmas that in many cases have never been proven according to the scientific method and point out (quite accurately in my opinion) that people have developed a bad trait of just repeating what science tells us without ever looking into it themselves.

I came across Flat Earth around late August, early September 2015.

I had watched a YouTube video during my lunch break called "Something is Affecting the entire solar system".

In the "Up next" I saw a video tilted NASA release 'eyebrow raising' image of earth / EPIC which i added to my "Watch later".

Later that evening I went back to it and YouTuber MrMBB333 was examining the new 2015 picture of Earth. What struck me immediately was the obvious struggle he had explaining things he found wrong with the picture that NASA were so proud of.

I look to the "up next" and I saw something I just couldn't help but click on.

I'm sure any person who has clicked the watch next a few times has found themselves on "that part of YouTube" I though to myself

"This has reached another level"

But I can't stress this point enough....I will entertain any notion.

Not because it makes sense to me but because it makes sense to someone else. People believe something for a reason. The reason may not be a good one to others but they don't see it that way and all I want to know is what that reason is and why they think it is a good one. I think its important to try to understand how people work.

I'm sure most of us (well at least i was) have been told that people at one time thought the Earth was flat and sailors were worried about sailing off the edge and along came Columbus and proved it was a globe so I was actually excited to see why any person would have a reason to think the Earth is flat in 2015. Especially considering we have photos of Earth from space.

I started watching and........ I can only describe the feeling I had as both refreshing and unsettling because all i could think was

"Why does this seem to make sense to me?"

I think the main reason was something at the beginning that was already obvious to me and I'm very cautious of.

Peoples preconceived perceptions and how easily we can be fooled.

As you have seen in the first video I asked you to watch.

So I kept watching. When It finished I saw a part 2 and I just had to watch it.

Looking back now I can see some problems on the video but this is just the start.

For the next few weeks I would get home from work and watch one or two more YouTube videos. I started taking down a few notes but not really looking into it. Just checking a few things that seemed to be an obvious place to start. I mean these people are saying that all the pictures of Earth are fake !!!!!!!!

At the time the only person I would even dare talk too, let alone even mention the idea too was my partner and only because she had heard what i was watching. She seemed to understand why I was interested. Why was I?

Firstly because the thought of it being possible just intrigues me, the ultimate thought experiment.

Secondly because the subject was making me question EVERYTHING else I find interesting.

Space Travel, The planets, Astrology, Astronomy, SPACE EXISTING AT ALL!!!!!, Science, History and yes I love a good conspiracy theory.

I am also an atheist and when you start seeing that religion talks of a flat Earth and science may not be all its cut out to be you hit a bit of a wall.

Some may find this statement very odd. Most people will react to this by instantly dismissing this new information because it is challenging your core beliefs. If you have read the RELIABLE INFORMATION page you will already know this reaction is called Cognitive dissonance ( 1 )

I love a good challenge........so I kept watching.

The way I saw it the result would be one of 2 things.

1) I will find out the Earth is flat.

Just imagine for a second all of this is true.......HUGE IMPACT .

2) I'll confirm the Earth is a globe.

No problem there.

Be honest.....Do you know how fast we rotate?, how fast we orbit?, how fast the sun is moving through the galaxy?

I've asked so many people "How fast is the sun moving?" and the answer back was........ "It doesn't move".

I thought I knew the basic concepts very well but quickly learnt I knew very little.

That's just the basics. It escalates quickly.

So worst case scenario I'll walk away with all of this new scientific information. Is that a bad thing?

A few weeks in my partner had to spend 2 months away from home to complete her final block of practical training for her degree. I can only imagine what she must have been thinking as day to day the things I was talking about on the phone as the topics list grew in number and reasons became crazier.

Around 3 months later I had information coming out of my ears (not just FE info) and realized i needed somewhere to store it all so I started this site.

Its around this point I started discussing it on Facebook groups.

Now with confidence talking about it with strangers, One night I was at a close friends place and something came up that gave me the thought "Ok lets drop the idea on him".

So I ask "Do you know there are thousands of people who think the Earth is flat"

He is pretty open minded so we had a discussion and watched a few videos but it just didn't make sense to him. The one or 2 things pointed out did but the reasons for why this lie would be told was not clear.

So I realized the site could help explain this idea and many like it.

Here I am, over 6 months later I'm not disappointed that I kept looking into it. The only thing I regret is not having anything to physically show for the first 3 months.

Unfortunately in my experience on Facebook groups and Youtube comments this is not the case for a vast majority of them. Don't misunderstand because there are a lot of good researchers out there.

But I see questions asked that should have been answered very early in the process if they are doing their own research. It looks like people believe the earth is flat for the same reason people believe its a globe. Because you were told it is.

Its getting a bit like a religion. If you present any information that might go against the theory you are met with very negative attitudes and will most likely be banned from the group.

Say the wrong thing or show the wrong symbol and your accused of being a "shill" who is basically controlled opposition. Paid by the government to throw new people off the trail. They hide in plain sight by putting out just enough good information to keep the flat earth community from knowing their agenda but mix in ridiculous disinformation to make the concept seem crazy to anyone new to it.

Its said that the concept is a government Psyop (Psychological operation). A distraction they have created to keep people busy researching it and not looking into other real agendas or operations.

Its also said to be used to discredit other legitimate "conspiracy theories". As you can see from the quick list below Flat Earth is tied in with just about every other conspiracy theory. So if you were stupid enough to believe the earth is flat and its proven to be wrong, a false movement then it makes every subject associated with it seem stupid and crazy as well. It will discredit every "truther" out there.

I'm just going to say that if the intention is to be a distraction its very poorly executed. I looked into the other subjects more than I ever would have if I hadn't heard about flat earth. Its a subject you can actually research and while doing so helped me realize how things could possibly be connected and has shown me many things i once only thought to be true are in fact very true.

I would just advise not to get caught up on Facebook groups who basically share picture memes all day.

Don't get caught up in the drama going on in the community. Every person is accused of having bad information or being a shill but this will not matter if you are doing your bit and fact checking the information they present. I use their information like youtube videos etc for ideas to research further and take everything said with a open mind and an awareness that it could be speculation or flat out incorrect.

Don't get caught up arguing with people about it. You will never convince someone the Earth is flat if they are not even willing to entertain the idea.

I promise that If you give the subject a chance you will see very quickly its not a laughable as one might think.

Why is it the only subject i know of that is met with such hostility and ridicule?

Its Because we were all taught at a very early age that its a globe, stupid people way back in history thought it was flat and you could just sail off the edge. Its the most stupid idea in history and anyone who even considers it is just as, if not more stupid then those primitive uneducated people in the past.

This makes me question why it is treated this way. Its usually a sign that someone really doesn't want anyone thinking about it for a good reason.

(bare with me from here on. I am just going to tell this story like a blunt flat earther but nothing i say below is false or even exaggerating Its just how the story goes.)

No that's just a stupid thought to have...........Of course its a globe.

We are definitely spinning 1000 mph at the equator while we orbit around the 93 million mile distant Sun at 67,ooo mph which is flying through the galaxy at nearly 500,000 mph while our galaxy is rocketing through the universe at almost 1000,000 mph. But with all this motion you have never felt it.

The only reason you don't fly off into space is because of Gravity which is strong enough to hold you, all the water and atmosphere down but weak enough to allow birds to fly and let a helium balloon float (but not oxygen or other elements). Its also strong enough to hold the moon in orbit , the moons gravity is strong enough to cause our tides but not strong enough to attract each other. Instead of the moon getting closer it is moving away from us a few inches a year.

People in Australia are upside down, not from their perspective of course but all the buildings, cars, planes, people.........yep all upside down and have no idea.

We knew without a doubt despite the fact we couldn't get high enough to see it with our own eyes until 1935.

We didn't really get proof until World War 2 ended and under operation paperclip The United states smuggled in a bunch of Nazis and gave them top positions and engineering jobs at a place known as NASA who then used rockets that not long ago were bombing our allies and killing thousands to now get them into the space race and beat the Soviets who were miles ahead by flying to the moon with technology that was less advanced than the first game boy to take the title of the worlds super power. To prove it they provided poor quality video and a heap of pictures that people claim to have been doctored or faked in a movie studio by a man who produced 2001 space odyssey with the help of NASA just 1 year prior to this amazing achievement.

On the final mission they finally took a picture of Earth to satisfy some environmentalists who were asking why there are no full pictures of Earth.

They took the most iconic picture of all time and not one of the astronauts can remember taking it. They then flipped the image so we would see it how we expect to even though we have never seen it and for the next 43 years provided us with composite images of earth and admitted they are all made in Photo shop and when we finally see another one that isn't it has a natural cloud formation that spells out "SEX".

But we all know its a globe......Right?

We have all seen it with our own eyes right?

No.......well I'm sure we can trust a government ran agency with Nazi roots that have been given trillions of dollars of taxpayer money over the years to go to space.

They have no reason to lie, why even lie about something like the shape of the earth? Its not like if they were wrong science would go out the window and religion proven to be right.

Its 100% without a doubt a globe.

We are so confident that we know this Flat Earth thing will only take a few minutes to debunk.

Silly people............ thinking the Earth is flat...............Where would they get such a crazy idea?

RELIABLE INFORMATION

Is a break down of what is a reliable source of information and the ethics of enterprises that control it.

More importantly goes over how perception effects how we view new information presented to us, how your perception is influenced by many factors, How discernment is critical while assessing any information and how Cognitive dissonance plays a role in how you may receive the information.

This is important to understand and may open your mind up to some of the subjects once you know why we react to it the way we do.

It is critical that you look very closely into their history.

It is also critical to examine every video or picture they have released.

Examine all of the International Space Station (ISS) footage very closely and with a skeptical eye.

Examine the Space walks and look for things that might be out of place.

Examine pictures of Earth, other planets etc.

Watch all of the interviews with Astronauts (like Astronauts gone wild).

Watch Moon landing examinations. Make sure you catch "A funny thing happened on the way to the moon" or at very least the 2 minute cut of them filming earth.

ANTARCTICA

Is the key to the subject. It is essential to know some key events and names.

Its said to be the edge, extending all the way around the outside of all the continents. Its face is a huge ice wall that holds all of the water in and stops us from sailing off the edge.

The US navy, lead by Admiral E Byrd sent 2 missions to Antarctica that are well know in the community.

Operation High Jump in 1946-47 and Operation deep freeze in 1955-56.

Admiral Byrd talked in an interview about Antarctica being rich in resources and having large sections of land that were unexplored. He talked of a Tropical climate beyond the snow.

Countries were lining up to stake their claim on it with over 50 Antarctic stations in operation and then all of the sudden in 1959 a treaty was opened for signature and official entered into force by 1961.

12 countries (Including the U.S and the Soviet Union who were in a cold war with each other) with significant financial and strategic interests had signed the Antarctic treaty declaring Antarctica can not be owned by any nation, will be used for peacefully and scientific purposes only.

The treaty still exists, managed by the United nations with 53 countries as signatories.

The Theory goes that The US navy found something down there in 1956.

Some say the Dome that encloses our world as talked about by all of the major ancient religions and even the Bible.

Some say they found a whole new "puddle" with more "tropical" land and other life.

In 1958 NASA was formed to find out how far this artificial dome extends and if we can breach it.

To prevent people finding out about the discovery Antarctica was closed via the treaty in 1959 (official as of 61). Now all visitors must be sanctioned, escorted and the waters are patrolled by the Military to prevent unauthorized visits.

In 1962 The United states started launching Nuclear weapons into the sky at very high altitudes called Operation Fishbowl (under A larger operation called Operation Dominic).

Did they find the end of our Earth?

Did they Find more land in another "puddle"

Did Admiral Byrd find the entrance into our Hollow earth? (to be covered at a later date)

Did they Panic, close the area and try to blow a hole in the dome? Our "fishbowl"?

Did NASA get through it or did they fake space in order to show we live on a sphere as science told us and not a flat, motionless plain enclosed by a dome where everything including the sun revolves around us just as religion has said and the great minds of the day went out of their way to disprove.

Either way it seems like an interesting story.
